Ladies Formal Uniform
Black, long dress *** Ordered throughCantaré
Plain black dress shoes with very low heels (no more than 1 inch) and no buckles or trim (no patent leather or open toes)
Black tights or knee highs
No Jewelry
No Shiny or Obvious Hair Decorations including shiny barrettes or hair clips
Hair should be neatly combed and kept out of the face.
If it is necessary to secure hair out of the face, girls are to use an inconspicuous black band.

Gentlemen's Formal Uniform
White, tux shirt***
Bow tie & cummerbund***
Black pleated pants - not provided by Cantaré
Black belt
Black socks (over the ankles)
Plain black dress shoes – loafers or oxford style

Uniform is always clean, pressed, in good repair, and well fitted
No perfume or cologne
There are times when choristers will perform in venues where the full dress performance uniform would be impractical or uncomfortable for Choristers. Singers will receive information at rehearsals if their directors have given specific clothing instructions for any Cantaré event.
